The Conference is organized to commemorate the adoption of mediation in civil disputes in the civil procedure code  in Poland in 2005.  Although the main focus of the Conference will be civil mediation this does not preclude submission of topics of a general nature concerning mediation in the field of law and other disciplines.

We  welcome the submission of topics by Polish and foreign  scholars concerning mediation  in Poland and in other  countries   and/or in a comparative contexts.

The purpose of the Conference is an academic discussion on  research, issues and challenges in mediation,  as well as to promote academic cooperation between scholars from different institutions and prepare a post conference publication. We would like to ask you to share  this call for papers with other academics that you think may be interested  in participating.
